Salcedo used 1600 chairs were used in the making! This is interesting to see how the chairs are fitted together. The height of the sculpture replacing a space.

She used everyday objects to impress people of the public, making them pay closer attention to things they may not think twice about i.e. positive and negative space.

It would be interesting to see how these chairs looked if they were set alight, to observe all the colours shown from the burning wood.

Again from afar it is safe to say this work is appreciated more, viewers can see the true size of the piece.
